    Great points!

In my opinion, if you’re not going to stay in a home for at least 20 years, it’s not prudent to spend a fortune on major remodeling project. Therefore, sometimes, repainting cabinets are the right choice.

That’s a good point that you can match the color of your cabinets with the rest of your kitchen if you repaint them. I would want to have a nice looking kitchen, but I don’t want to spend a bunch of time on painting. That way you wouldn’t be able to use the kitchen while you paint. I might just have some new one that matches the kitchen installed.

I love the picture with the white cabinets, stone countertops, bulb light fixtures, and decorative tile backsplash. I think that the white cabinets give the room an almost ethereal feel, as if they make the whole kitchen much lighter not only color but with the ambiance. I am planning on getting new cabinets soon, and I think that I might want to incorporate a similar design to my kitchen!

It makes sense that you would want to match the walls, kitchen island and floors when replacing your cabinets. My best friend wants to get rid of his cabinets because he is remodeling part of the kitchen. With that set, I will advise considering his kitchen apparel before choosing a set of cabinets.

You should be able to paint over your cabinets but it requires a few steps. Wood is the best surface material to paint over. If the paint is old, you’ll need to strip it off before painting them again. To do so, use either a sander or a scraper to expose the material underneath.
