4 Objects You Need To Clean That You Have Forgotten

Share

Homes are full of counters, carpets, and floors that you must regularly clean; otherwise, the home will fall into disarray.

On top of these items, there are a few other objects you need to clean that you may have forgotten and have steadily gotten dirtier and collected dust.

1. Furniture Nooks and Crannies

You try and refresh some of your furniture, turning cushions over and vacuuming up crumbs and hair, but you should also get in the hard-to-reach places.

Vacuum under your couch, dust behind your TV, and clean on top of your cabinets. These are some of the most neglected parts of your home, and dirt can pile up quickly if you don’t take action. Keep every aspect of your home spotless if you want it to stand the test of time!

2. Plaques and Trophies

Many trophies and plaques represent achievements from a time long ago, and they go on a shelf somewhere where you forget about them. This is a tragedy as you should keep them in your memory forever. You can do this by cleaning them regularly!

The best way to properly care for your plaques and trophies is to get the right cleaning solutions and carefully clean them with a microfiber cloth. After cleaning, make sure to store them properly so they don’t meet any new dust or dirt.

3. Baseboards

Your baseboards are a part of your home that you might rarely think about cleaning. You absolutely should make them one of your top priorities next time you clean. Homes are full of dirt, sweat, and oil floating through the air, and those particles collect on your baseboards.

If you don’t clean them often enough, they will quickly brown and can ruin the entire mood of your home. When everything is clean, but the baseboards are not, you will know something is off. Keep them clean, and your whole house will feel spotless.

4. Plants

Plants sit in the corners of the home or on desks, growing. One thing that plants also do is collect dust. Plants don’t move around the house too often, so they are great dust collectors. Wipe off your plant leaves regularly with a microfiber cloth. Cleaning plant leaves will keep them dust-free and help them grow healthier as they can better receive sunlight.

These are only a few objects you need to clean that you may have forgotten in and around your home. There are likely more items that can contribute to an uncomfortable environment, so be vigilant when cleaning. This way, you can take care of everything, and no speck of dirt will be left behind.
